Hi Connie:
It seems to me an the engine from an old car would work fine. You
would have to rig a pulley system . A lot of old trucks have pto's and
would have plenty of power. The cheapest way it use an old
differential pointed vertically into a stock tank an pulled by a
pickup truck.
300.00 should be enough to get someone to build it for you.
I definately would want a substantial engine , preferably diesel , to
use in a larger tank. I think you will never find better , cheaper
route for what you describe than the tow tank.
