No personal experience with clay here (I am in Florida and my property
sits on a sand bed that is 12-16 foot deep), but from others posting
on the list I would recommend you stick to either portland or clay in
a particular mix, not both. If you are looking for additives to either
I would concentrate more on fly ash or other pozzolans / kaolins
instead of trying to mix those two. Just my 2 centavos.
