[papercreters] Cement-everything off gasses- even butter

the off gassing is from the PRODUCTION of Co2 during calcining &
factory manufacure of limestone & clay together to make 'clinker'...
it is miniscule off gassing when mixed with water and made into
cement blocks, slabs.

it is not true that cement reabsorbs Co2 in any measurable amount, if
at all Cement sets by water..it kicks off,and is DONE within hours,
a 90 day cure does not absorb any Co2... the main component in cement
is lime- lime by ITSELF, pure, as plaster or mortar it will
reabsorb- because it hardens SLOW over time back tolimestone , but as
a cement product it is nil or not measurable by my understanding.

( The French lime rep for St. Austier says their lime production off
gasses CO2 in THEIR country, and we get the benefit of reabsorption
of Co2 HERE,,and he gets a laugh--of course-- as this is plain silly,
the wind blows all over the planet

also "cement" is clay and limestone and a few other additives, all
toasted and roasted and made into ordinary portland cement OPC

Remember the millions of miles of freeways and massive cement building
built are going to be built in NYC, Vegas, LA, FL, .. the tiny
amount you use for building in paperrete or even a full slab is non
registerable on theplanet.

Dont fight windmills by swallowing the "guilt" you should have for
using cement...if you saw what is put into the air in eastern Europe
and China-- there is nothing you could do in 100 life times to
compensate...and I am a fullon proponent of lime!!! there is a place
for allmaterials... useit as needed without guilt.

pick your battles.

and yeah, everything off gasses..even butter..
