Hi Judith,
Good to hear that you have had a positive experience storing blocks. I am planning to build a small (probably 8x14) shed this summer with PC to see how it goes. I'd like to try both bricks and slip forms to see how they work, how quick they dry/cure & how they look comparitively. It should be a fun expiriment. (I hope... haha!) I was leaning towards bricks because I thought it would be a good idea to get a jump start on building next year, but I will have to see how they turn out before I make any definitive decisions.
I am looking forward to seeing your project develop. You are an inspiration. :)
Thanks,
Shana

I would say that if you are going to make blocks start early in the season, make as many as you can and have fun. I wouldn't worry about storing them. I made a bunch of blocks 4 years ago. They have been stacked out in the cold, rain, and snow since then and just seem to get better over time. I would suggest that you build something very small and see how it goes. If I lived in AK I would definitely use papercrete.
