I welded a drive shaft between a spare truck wheel and one wheel of the mixer. The rear of the truck and the mixer are on blocks. The other mixer wheel is secured to a 4x4x1/4 4' long angle iron buried 3' in the earth, which secures the mixer and keeps the wheel from turning. This may even double the speed of the blade if I understand differentials right. Yes, that is ice hanging from mixer rear. You can papercrete in the winter if you're doing it thick.
Disclaimer: Don't try this at home, spinning shafts are dangerous! This one needs a better guard than a board and orange paint. Please don't tell OSHA. If you go ahead and do this, send pictures : )

Its like watching a giant blender in operation! How did you have the truck connected to the tank? Removal of a wheel and bolting to the wheel?
