[papercreters] Re: second batch report!

"Pulpy" is good.

Pulpy and juicy is not good.

It's not always necessary, but pulpy is desireable. Pulpy papercrete
is almost always stronger than "sprinkly" papercrete, but maybe not
as festive.

Another technique for making blendo-papercrete is to pulp just the
paper in a very watery mix and drain out the excess water in a
strainer. Then go back and mix in the rest of the ingredients and
adjust the water as necessary. This can produce pulpy and gloppy
rather than pulpy and juicy.

Magazine paper contains clay. Newsprint does not. Expect different
results. Magazine paper will tend to produce stronger/denser/heavier
papercrete but slightly less quality of an insulator. Newsprint will
tend to produce slightly weaker/lighter/fluffier papercrete but a
better insulator.
