[papercreters] Securing two 12' corners is necessary

I just posted a picture of the east wall we worked on today.
(It's in Ron & Doris album ) You will see that we hung some wire from the box beam to hang down then we will encase it in the middle of the forms with PC Ron will be on one side and I will be on the other. It is also secured to the logs.
We installed two windows and attached heavy fencing wire across the beams on the windows then it was attached around the columns plus the logs then tightened .
The logs were treated for termites, that the white stuff you see on them. We got several logs on a fire wood permit five years ago and just new we would use them someday on a building project : )

I'm tired tonight! So is Ron he decided to drill throuh his thumb nail this morning, that wasn't too much fun but didn't slow him down for long.
Doris
PS: I put the logs in after looking at the box beams resting on the edge of the concrete columns and worried a little about shear on that sharp concrete edge. Ron
