[papercreters] hempcrete- lime does the work

Yes I use lime almost exclusively-- Isochanvre is well know for the last decade.  but not here.   the hemp is high in silica, and the lime is what turns it back to limestone again.   lime will do this the  shredded office paper too. I have used lime+paper ( a CHinese recipe I have posted here several times)  to make a non burn wall plaster in my bathroom. after 5 years no mold, decay, breakdown  of the plaster of any kind in a shower room that gets used daily.

lime can have sawdust and chopped shrubs added to make a strong light wall or floor too.   several peop0le have tried this and if one is in Europe or Canada you can get hemp to use. Canadians Dave CUll and his  partner built a lot with it. ( its on my forthcoming CD on papercrete)

see www.tree.org  go to the Alt.  building page, this guy uses ONLY cement and hemp hurds from his pot growing, plus chopped shrubbery, no clay  to make his steps, floors etc.

lastly, this guy is also wanted by the feds and is on the lam currently ( thats all I know from the Mendicino website for wanted criminals). its sad if he is guilty of child molestation as the police post says. I met him a few times- kookie, but did not seem dangerous.
