[papercreters] Building inexpensive small domes with papercrete - Discussion Phase

Greeting all you papercreters,

Very soon we will be starting a project of building small papercrete domes. The objective is to produce a few domes to be used for art studio spaces using the most affordable processes that require minimal labor.

I am hoping to get some feed back from anyone who can help with information like recipes, suggested tool, instructions, and anything else that comes to mind.

The current plan is to assemble a dome shape with rebar, pour a slab, wire in salvaged carpet between the rebar, and spray on one thin coat of papercrete inside and out, until it is thick enough to be tuff and self supportive. Also, we will preplan and front door, window, and and extra door for connecting to additional domes in the future.

Thanks in advance for any help you choose to offer, we plan to share what we learn so we can help others in return. If you happen to live in the Austin Texas area please feel free to get involved. This will be a great workshop opportunity.
