I don't know if this is useful or not, but my family has a
manufacturing/assembly business on the Central Coast of California
and they have the capability of doing stress testing (to the point of
breakage) on materials within a given size constraint. They've got
Instron machines and the ability to graph the stress to the point of
failure. This really aids in the whole process of certifying any
given material since it becomes substantive proof. There are two
degreed Engineers there under roof. It is a service they provide
since they had to purchase all the necessary equipment for their own
products, they would like to utilize it for whoever else requires
such and doesn't have the right equipment.
