I've started a new project and am excited to try out my new ideas. I'm doing another 12 x 16 building using the block/slip form method. A lot of time was spent getting the slip forms just right and I'm optimistic about the result. I've made it so the papercrete will be monolithic - it will have no breaks, flowing though all the forms and around the corners. I poured a mix of papercrete with latex paint added all around the bottom perimeter about 1 foot high. After that the only opening is for a 4 foot door. I will enlarge the door after all is cured and cut out windows as needed.
I've been taking pictures and videos and will post them as regularly as possible on my blog (link in signature). I am so excited to work on this project that I am too tired at the end of the day to deal with the computer and still can't figure out how to get the video out of the camera. If I could hire just one person to help me with things it would be someone to deal with this technical stuff.
It feels absolutley wonderful to be back out in the fresh air and sunshine making papercrete.
