As it has been stated before papercrete for most part it is porous and is an insulator....but doesn't mean you cant use it.
I think if you use it in the right areas of the stove it would be great possibly.
Such as insulating the fire riser tube where you want insulation and around the entire stove where it would meet the walls of your home or even insulate beneath the stove.
