Re: [papercreters] sources

Most carriers have to either return the papers they dont sell or the mast. If they cut the mast-head off and send it in then they throw the rest of the paper away. My local carrier usually gives me about 300 pounds of news print a week. YOu will be supprised how this stuff starts coming out of the woodwork once people  find out you are looking for paper. Mike McCain told me when I started the problem would not be getting enough paper. I thought he was fulla beans. I dont now!

I go to recycle centers and newspapers. I prefer to use the newspapers in small towns since they normally do not have recycling programs. Small towns often have recycling dumpsters, but the content normally goes to the city dump since they are too remote for recycling plants to come pickup their material.

Hello:

First of all thank you sharing your experiences in papercrete.  I"ve
been studying this for a bit now.  My questions is what sources do you
use for the paper.  Which businesses do you approach to obtain the
paper?

Thanks,
