[papercreters] Re: Papercreters database

All the userid and password does is allow addition of information to the database.  It doesn't protect any of your financial information or personal information, other than your email address which is available to anyone in the yahoo group.  Because it doesn't protect any sensitive information, there's no point in making it md5 encrypted (appears as asterisks).  If any of the moderators sees something in the database that shouldn't be there, the information will be delete and the offender's access will be cut off, so high security isn't a must.

If you don't have recipes to add to the database, there is no reason for you to register.  You can view any of the recipes by clicking List Recipes and selecting your preferred sorting method.

Subject: Papercreters database

Hi Elf,
I belong to the Yahoo Papercreters group, and tried to register for the database, but my password didn't get disguised as asterisks.  Didn't want to join for this reason.
Thanks for all the work you are doing.  I know a website in process as people are pushing can be very difficult.  However, I appreciate what you are doing.
Best wishes for a joyous holiday.
Ruth
