That is one big problem with getting the digest instead of individual messages. With individual messages you can easily read the response and skip the old text if you have already read it. With digest you are stuck with scrolling through all the old stuff that has been repeated ad infinitum. Even though it has been requested many times, and is basic good netiquette, you'll never get everyone to edit down to what they are specifically replying to.
