Maybe it could be like experimental airplanes. They have to display a placard stating that it is experimental.
 
Set it up so if you come into my experimental house I am not liable for some misfortune that befalls you because I made my roof out of old car fenders.

I think there needs to be a distinction between what the average papercreteopfile wants to do compared against the "law", considering common sense. In Judith's case, IMO she is epitome of moral and justified. If there is any "law" against what she wants to do then that law is imoral.
