[papercreters] Re: Using papercrete to fill an old window cavity.

Message #9826 is the one my crew calls my magic mud........message 9701
is how many gallons of PC it will take to fill the window
cavity.......my mix of that PC is 50/50 cellouse insulation/morter mix
and just enough water to make a firm mixture without being too soupy,
had to hand fill the 2x6 forms one at a time and then placed another 2x6
form atop and so on and so on till I got to the top, the last row took a
little imagination but I got it filled then after it set I used my magic
mud to smooth out the pot holes and edges where it had shrunk away from
the opening a little.

the old window I filled with PC, the last one is showing the finished
wall......can' t tell there is still a metal window frame inside the
wall.....worked great.....love that PC....I make what my workers refer
to as magic mud from PC, it's the formula I sent to Ron & Doris, it can
be made thicker or thinner (so thin you can blow it through a texture
hopper, and so thick you can use it like bondo, I've even repaired
termite eaten wood with it and you would have to know where to look to
even tell where I fixed it.
