Thanks Nick, Yes we have fiberglass on the inside and the reason for the 2 inches of papercrete is that it seemed to have worked on another addition that we did ( NO LEAKS ) so we are leaving it open at this point and may add more if needed at the end of this project. I don't think I mentioned that there is paint added to this papercrete mix. We hope to enjoy for a long time! Taking it a lot slower now than we were in the beginning.

Ron put a barrel full of linseed oil on top of that and will add a layer of Emulsified Asphalt as a last layer later on in the summer. The North bathroom wall we are working on right now will be our final wall to put up we are so excited. Then it will be the floors and inside walls next. I love your project on the back yard cooking area. We plan on doing something similar when the bedroom is finished. |
