I am now using cardboard in place of newspaper which is also no longer available. I cram as much cardboard as possible into 3) 55 gallon drums to soak. I slide the flattened boxes into the barrels vertically and can get a lot in there. This fills my 200 gallon mixer. I use 2 buckets perlite (but will forgo that when it runs out) and 3) 5 gallon buckets of the cement, fly ash mix,, the equivalent of a 94 lb bag. The cardboard seems to be working pretty well and I can get a lot of it at the dollar store. I just take it from the dumpster (I got permission!) Sorry you can't get pumice but I'm sure it's not really necessary. I know Charmaine has experimented with a lot of exotic things. That's probably a good idea. Maybe you will come up with something really great.
