[papercreters] Re: Broken glass

I've not played with asphalt emulsion yet, only the solvent based stuff. I dont know the price, but assumed it would be expensive by volume compared with papercrete.

Glass density is typically around 2, dry papercrete around 0.2, and wet papercrete a bit more than 1. So glass increases the dried weight hugely. I've only made test samples so far, but presume added glass would be better suited to poured than blocks because of the weight.

The glass doesnt settle out in the mould btw, so deep pours should be fine. It does tend to settle quickly in the tub though, I needed to rotate the tub while pouring it.
