There's nothing crazy about slipforming as long as you have a good transport system for the pc. Trash rated pumps work well and are relatively cheap. Peristaltic pumps have been praised, but I haven't tried one yet with pc. If you're planning on using a wheelbarrow and buckets, you can surely cancel your membership in Gold's gym because you won't need it to stay in shape! Most of my projects were done that way, and it's not a very fulfilling hobby.

I like your nice large blocks. How much do they weigh after drying? Using corrugated metal as molds gives you the option of making "keyed" blocks similar to what I tried a few years back, http://starship-enterprises.net/papercrete/Moldedblox.html
