The Papercrete would be used over bricks. The idea is that it would help insulate the oven and help it to maintain a very high temp. Do you think papercrete would do as well as adobe or work well in this situation? Thanks.

I have seen a papercrete fireplace. The recipe was 1/1/1 of
paper/portland/sand by weight. It lasted for one season and started to
crumble, but it was not lined with anything, the fire was lit right on
the papercrete. It was a silly thing to do, as the only place any heat
radiated was the opening, the rest was too well insulated but, in our
warm climate, for a single person sitting in front, it was nice.
