[papercreters] Making Parlor stove an unusual firepit

ha.. it's not going anywhere.. not at 300 pounds!

With my idea I can just remove the screws on the steel middle , and
take it off with the door attached, and set aside. then put in the
new welded circle of bars and enjoy it as a outdoor fire box, with
elegant charm. and if I ever want to sell it it will be exactly as it
is.. with no alterations, just put it back together with few screws.

Plus I talked to Mike- my sheet metal/stove & furnace guy and he
says the main office up in Arcata, CA can create from my design a
ribcage type "middle" section for me to just replace the center
piece of old steel. he "got it" right away about what I meant.
If you look in any hardware or Home Despot store the new metal pan
firepits are all the rage,

a big flat bottom metal pan with a screen lid, and stars and moons
punched out of the metal pan & cover . and used as a yuppie backyard
hearth-- no old cinder blocks pile up for them.. and just $200. too!
for a tin pan on cheap wheels HA

I also saw cheaper ones for $90 sale prices.. basically it is a
prettier Webber BBQ- but all fancy

here is a pic of what I mean- just imagine an amazing tall top and
big cast iron base

and here is a granite table with a firepit in the center-- just
$2,600+ to roast your marshamallows ot toast your shrimps-- kind of
a Benihanna cook at your table look,

HUmmmm I have lots of free granite, I have salvaged tables, and I
can make a Paracrete no burn "bowl" to put in the center as my
firepit...

and lastly the STUCCO firepit is a cement based circle. it looks
very much like the firepit Tapas the inventor built with his Paracrete
mix ( pumice-eps fines and cement-- similar to Judith's papercrete
mix-- a NO BURN formula.) the one shown in the pic above is $1,096
- but is faux wood logs, and gas powered and anyone here could
build their own easily, and make it prettier too.
