From what I've read about gray water it should be no problem unless you store the gray water for more than a very short time. The recommended maximum is 24 hours, though it takes the bacteria somewhat longer than that to turn it into black water. It will start to stink and give off hydrogen sulfide which is toxic and corrosive. Try filling a bucket with gray water and letting it sit around for a couple of days, and see what you get.
So, you'd need a source of gray water adequate for your mixing needs without long term storage.
