Thermal  mass controls temp swing.  I'm damp cool coastal and I'm going for lots of thermal mass . . .

Two questions. What is "rc", does it stand for regular concrete?
Also, I've read that it is not a good idea to try for much thermal mass
in that climate (dampish, pretty cool coastal climate)but rather to go
for more insulation. Opinion?
