Re: [papercreters] Re: paper foam concrete

Check back through the archives for this group. Someone reported trying foaming with papercrete some time back. As I recall, the results weren't very good, but it's been awhile so you should look for the original message to get the straight facts.

Where are you located?

Do you have the equipment to make foam?

If you will be using foam concrete, why would you want paper?

Have you gotten strength tables from the foam people?
They must have them, so foam-papercrete will be less than that.
You should know that papercrete is not usually subjected to standardized testing because it is done by individuals and not by manufacturers, although there may be some numbers out there.

foam is another way to produce light weight concrete. you can get some
useful information on www.portafoam. com
back to my question, by using this foam technology with papercrete,
will it produce a good strenth of lightweight papercrete (even
papercrete itself is already light)
