[papercreters] Re: OT - Looking for an assist from someone out west

Hi Ernie, you are correct. I did not check the endangered plant
lists but IIRC in general, sageBRUSH aka Artemisia sp. is not rare or
protected or sacred. Many types of Sage aka Salvia sp. are
endangered or protected or used for holy purposes.

Of course any plant myay be protected if on a Federal or State or
county park/preserve, or in astudy area or area of special concern.

Great Basin Sagebrush Artemisia (tridentata?) is one o fthe most
common plants of the higher eleveations of the semi-arid West.

If no one closer to it replies I mightr be able to ramble east of
here aboout 30 miles and get you some.
