I was actually subscribed to MEN when that article was published, but later let the subscription lapse when they went from newsprint to slick paper, and changed their tone from DIY to buying things from their advertisers. Life in corporate America : )
I never did much with the information, tried cutting a few tires and proved to myself that they aren't very good for domes.
