Re: [papercreters] Mixer update

The crew that poured my basement had a thing sort of like that which they attached to the chute from the ready mix truck. It was like a big funnel with a rubber tube off the end of it, maybe 3-4 feet long. With this, they could swing the chute around to get a general position, then use the tube to put the concrete exactly where they wanted.

Hi!

As I've stated in my introduction a few days ago: I've been reading all the posts for a while now. Not too long ago there was a discussion about the best way to deliver the PC from the mixer.

I'm currently in Austria and observed on a local construction site (a family building their own home with the help of relatives) a very interesting device: It's a concrete bucket that has an expeller hose attached. Well, it's better to just look at it:

So, if one were to attach such a hose to the mixer directly it would enable them to easily aim the PC into forms on the ground...

Greetings,

Gero
