Yes, pouring into forms works well - that's what I have been doing lately, even using lath as one side of the form as you plan to do.

Hi! My wife and I are buying a house in serious need of renovation and want to re-build at least the exterior walls of the house with papercrete. Several questions have come up as we are planning our construction: the first and main question we were contemplating is how successful people been with simply pouring the papercrete slurry into forms, thus eliminating the block forming and then building steps? We envision expanded lath (?) forms and then pumping the slurry into the forms. If anyone has information on this, we would be grateful for any feedback.
