I rather doubt that fiberglass drywall tape will stick well to raw
OSB, that stuff barely sticks to drywall sometimes. Maybe if you
primed the OSB before the taping and your first layer of PC had
something really sticky in it (lots of latex paint?) and you mashed it
into the mesh really well with a roller or something then the tape
might stay in place. Just guessing, based on some related experience
but nothing directly comparable.
Definitely since it's your first PC job you should try a test piece
and let us know what happens after it dries and you whack it around a
bit :-)
