[papercreters] Re: PC for patching hole in bricks?

I do not recommend papercrete to patch a hole in a brick or a brick
veneer wall.

I recommend chiseling out the hole so that there are no partial or
broken bricks. Clear out the loose mortar. Then replace the bricks
with the best matching bricks you can find. Mortar them in using the
same mortar as the original wall. Some concrete friendly adhesive
might be helpful in the repair also.

I love papercrete, but I don't think it is the best answer to every
problem. Keep your brick wall a brick wall.

Just my opinion.

Hope this helps.
