Re: [papercreters] What happened to mountainviewdome.com??

In looking at the result, I'd say one of two (or three?) things.
  • Ron didn't pay his hosting and his site was cut off. I'm really doubtful of this.
  • Ron didn't pay his domain name registration.  I'm really doubtful of this as the domain is still pointing at the HSphere host.
  • The host got hacked and they've jerked everything until they can fix it.
  • The site got hacked and is in the process of being fixed.  I'm really doubting this as well as Ron's site was all simple html.
Best bet, I'd say Ron's host (HSphere) got hacked.  Second best guess is Ron's moving his site to a new host and it's going to be 24 to 48 hours before the dns resolves.  Worst case scenario, the host has gone down, Ron bought his domain name through the host (reseller) and it's going to take a while for him to get control of his domain name and get his dns changed and rehosted somewhere else.

Best advice . . . keep checking back.

After Hubby and I absorbed about 1/3 of
it, we called it a night planning to study the rest when he returned
from the road again. Well, it seems to have disappeared off the face
of the earth. I get some other crazy thing when I either enter it
directly in the search engine or click directly on the link from a
Google search.

Does anyone know what happened? By any chance is the site owner a
member here who can tell me how to reach the pictures again? It was
fascinating and helpful.

Thanks.
