RE: [papercreters] Containers.

G'day, Janoahsh,
Yes, Max Whisson is still fiddling about with the Max Water but I think that
he is mostly concerned with getting the price down. It is currently quoted
as being between A$43,000 and A$50,000.
The gadget is well worth the price since without water you have nothing, and
land can be purchased in the bush with at least those figures worth of
savings owing to the drought we are suffering.
I've seen a demo of the gadget and it is absolutely fabulous; over 6,000
litres a day and completely self contained and wind driven..no fuel!! And it
works at it's best in the heat, of which we have plenty.
I've also seen a container house, as I've described, and that works
gangbusters, secure, easy to cool and heat, can't topple in a tremor, can't
burn in a bushfire, courtyard walls all glass, facing inwards. Stupendous!!
The one I saw in Queensland had a tile roof with normal insulation, but I
reckon that PC sheets in tile formation will perform both tasks. We'll see.
Best wishes,
Roger.
