I believe the most commonly accepted terminology for John's
construction method is "Earthbag."
One of the most prominent proponents of this type of construction is
Kelly Hart. His website is listed in our links section. His
papercrete covered earthbag home in Crestone Colorado is very unique
including behive type domes and all the amenities.
Placing the papercrete insulation on the outside of a large thermal
mass interior should provide a superior design for energy efficiency if
done properly (and would John do it any other way?)
