[papercreters] Re: Max Water machine

Yeah yeah. $43,000 for 10,000 liters per day?

Based solely on my gut instinct the product smells like a ripoff.

I dare someone to demonstrate one of these things in public and allow
an unbiased scientist to confirm the results. (Make sure no garden
hose is hooked up in secret).

I suppose it might be theoretically possible to get 10,000 liters of
water out of the atmosphere in the foggy Pacific Northwest during a
windstorm, but there's many much cheaper more plentiful sources
there. All you need is a big bucket to collect the rain. LOL.

In climates where an atmospheric condenser might be needed it would
obviously perform a lot less effectively.

The laws of physics don't just magically disappear because they're
inconvenient. Run the numbers. Thermodynamics works. It takes 540
calories to convert 1 gram of water at 100 deg C to vapor at 100deg
C. That works out to 5400000000 calories. That heat transfer works
both directions.

That means that the wind turbine blades must generate 6,276,000 watt
hours in a day. We're talking MONSTER TURBINE blades to generate
that much power. Blades that big will cost a lot more than $43,000.
We're probably talking millions.

It makes no sense. I have no proof, but the numbers look to me like
this is a scam to rip off investors. Just my personal opinion.

Hey...... here's an idea. Let's get back to talking about
papercrete.
