Re: [papercreters] Doris and Ron's Question

Thanks Bob, This looks so nice and will give a finish look to the front of our house. It will have to be a project for next
year though as Ronnie is trying hard to get the entire house done with first coat of PC then a color coat of stucco on all of that, big job.
Inside is 90 % done.

Subject: [papercreters] Doris and Ron's Question

Doris I applied the stones with Morter Mix (it's cement and sand already
mixed together) The reason I used this instead of PC, is because I know
from experience that once applied to the back of a stone it will grab
right away then all you have to do is stick it to the wall and it will
grab right away as well, I don't think PC would do that, I have not
tried it but unless the mixture was really rich with cement I don't
think it would grab like Morter Mix. After the stone is stuck in place
you still have to fill the gap around it, this can be best done with a
grout bag or a Hawk and trowel.
