We had a discussion a while back about adding latex paint to the mix or painting the finished papercrete with it. I am in New Mexico and have had my papercrete standing out in the weather unprotected and not waterproofed in any way. I think our climate is about the same. We have tremendous thunder storms but they are usually short lived. The water mostly runs off with very little soaking into the papercrete When it rains the pcrete gets wet but dries out very quickly.
I do not have a roof on yet but am thinking that if I use a thick layer of papercrete and slope it it will be ok not to waterproof it. The unknown factor for you is if the roof of your trailer will hold the weight.
I will be watching the responses to your post because my mother lives in a trailer with a deteriorated roof and I had not considered putting papercrete up there.
Sincerely, Judith
