RE: [papercreters] Re: Dogs

LOL I always say that being a bitch is a woman's birthright. After all, the second we're born, we get an F in sex!

Much as I love my own dogs, I'm not overly tolerant of other people's (or mine most of the time, for that matter) so I tend to get a bit opinionated. And kids...I just don't get WHY people let their kids behave so abominably so often, especially in social situations or in public. I think behavior is a direct reflection of the one in charge, so if your kids/dogs behave poorly, it's a sign that you're a poor "manager" or parent. I don't care if people talk about me behind my back, but it certainly isn't going to be because my pets made pests of themselves!!!

Your feelings are justified and if you feel like speaking up, you'll know who your friends are by who comes back to help, without the pests along!

Thank you Diane. So now I don't feel like such a bitch any more. Your analogy about children is appropriate.

Sincerely, Judith

I'm one of those weird dog lovers but I do NOT take them where they are not invited, nor do I take them where I am going to work. If I'm going to help someone WORK, that's what I'm there for - work. Not canine roundup, not play. Also, when my dogs DO go with me somewhere, they are expected to behave and be good guests, not pests. I might be very rigid in my thinking but to me, it's no different than someone bringing along unruly children and allowing them to run wild, screaming and getting in the way. People who bring along pets (or children) without permission and then let them get in the way should be told off in no uncertain terms.
