the problem with many of these mixers is that either they are
meatbeaters with a lot of torque , which creates a lot of vibration,
or they are high speed , with blades without much pitch, so that they
pulp well and cannot throw the heavy's - My suggestion is a 5 horse
power electric motor 220 volt at 1750 rpm with a balance shaft mounted
with a dozen 60 tooth table saw blades- this will rip the cr** out of
the paper and create a involute / vortex which will suck in the heavy
portland - you will have to put a lot of energy into the mixing one
way or the other - I use a 3.44yard roll mixer and hammer-milled
newsprint from International cellulose in Houston (for bricks ) For
plaster I use an Imer horizontal paddle blade mixer- Clyde--- In
