Hi all
I wish to cast 4'x8' or 4'x4' boards 4" thick that will provide
insulation & be placed on the outer side of a dry climate house. The
boards will be attached with screws and actually are replacing 2"
Styrofoam boards. after placing, will be stuccoed.
questions are:
1. what is my min Portland in the mix (since I want it insulative)?
what mix do you think is optimal for insulating purposes?
2. are there any materials that can harden the boards (not chicken wire)?
3. do you think 1 person can handle 4'x8'x5" if the mix is light? if
so can he\she handle a 4'x8'x8" one?
4. HAS ANYONE TRIED TO USE PC IN THIS MANNER? or even for insulative
bricks?
5. about the stucco, what mix should i use in dry climate (20 mm rain
max- draught for 3 yrs now) or is it even necessary?
waiting for replays while munching on fresh beautiful early summer
mulberries...
thanx all experts for all the help & info.
