WOW!! The water bubble cube is fantastic...such an interesting evolvement from geodesic dome structure. Loved seeing the construction progress.

 

The X truss structure of the CCTV/TVCC buildings remind me of the John Hancock in Chicago.

 

The Futuro bubble house is cute, but pretty well defies orthodox furniture or enough privacy to run around nekkid. Reminds me of Marina City, also in Chicago - a pair of towers that resemble ears of corn. All the rooms inside are like segments of an orange with radial walls and no square corners. The first 25 floors consist of a spiral ramp with parking. I worried about the balance and stability of people who lived there very long.

NOW that bubble house called FUTURO is adorable-- very 60's looking, so maybe that is the appeal, memory.

But...the roundness of the Futuro domes seems like much more useable space than the "container-like" eco house design. Plus you can see the interior better, no so broken up of with skinny runway dining room & LR areas...
