I like your thinking Terry.
In a sense we're gathering that information already. In the
database, we're gathering locations where people are using the
various recipes. Currently the database doesn't track what
structures are finished and what structures are in-progress. I'm
confident Nori can add a field or whatever to make it possible to
track which ones are finished.
If you look in the "Diagrams" album in the photos section, you'll
find a locator map that I've been building of finished structures.
Every time I learn of something I add it to my map. Each pushpin of
a structure has some additional data (Name, Address, Phone) of the
owner if I know it. Most of the pushpins represent the efforts of
our Papercreters members, some of them are ... uh ... future members,
yeah, that's it. :) Not every pushpin is pricked with precision
into the map. Some are my best guesses based upon the information I
have at the time. Other pushpins are accurate down to the exact
address. I'm always on the lookout for more papercrete structures.
If you know of some that you're not certain are listed, don't
hesistate to let me know.
Neither the map nor the database will ever be fully comprehensive.
Many structures are out there that are not publicized. The best we
can do is keep track of the information we have.

When we go to our building dept's in attempts to get permits I think
it would be very helpful if we had examples to show in our states.
If they can get permitted in one county, how can your county deny
you or at least discuss the possibilities with an open mind.
