That is good news/bad news. "Structural Bamboo Poles produced by Bamboo Technologies comply with the following codes" and "Certified bamboo produced by BT will be available for architects, designers and builders." make it sound like the ICC accepted only bamboo made by one manufaturer, and not bamboo in general. I hope I'm reading that wrong. We certainly don't want the IBC to say "certified papercrete blocks manufactured by International Paper Company".
