[papercreters] Re: Roman Concrete and Quick Setting Pozzolonic Cement

Hi All,

Has anyone tried adding a small amount of this "Roman" style quick setting cement into PC batches?

Would it decrease drying time?
Increase strength?
Make a harder finish?
Create a non breathable PC?
Increase fire/bug/mold resistance?

Cheers,

This concrete was much stronger then the present stuff and even stuck well to wood and steel. It's still available today but runs about $30 a bag instead of the $5 for Portland cement. You can find it as a concrete floor leveler compound or quick drying patcher. Try www.ceratechinc.com
