Mixers are so nice and shiny when new aren't they?
I bet that mixer doesn't look so pretty after 500 loads.

This one is over six years old, half a thousand loads, and I used it
yesterday, will again tomorrow. Definitely tried and true. What the
plans don't show is that you need a sheet of 3/4 plywood under the
stock tank to support the bottom, and a top made from the other half of
that plywood sheet.
