Thanks for posting the stories on Arlington Southwest...news travels fast.  Here's a picture of the site almost complete.  I'm sure it will create controversy but the purpose of the tombtones is to honor the fallen troops and to show in a clear and dramatic way the cost and consequences of a war, right or wrong, started by leaders who have never seen combat.  If we could have made tombstones to represent all the US troops instead of just Texas + all the Iraq civilians, they would probably cover the entire Kokernot ranch.  Unlike Vietnam the media is banned from showing casualties from Iraq so concerned citizens have to resort to other means to bring attention to it.  It's unfortunate that someone thinks it's sad to question the war and not think that war is sad.  But Curtis is right, this is not the forum to discuss these issues.

The tombstones were made of paper, cement, and perlite (obtained from Clyde Curry's stock)  then painted white so they can be seen from a distance.
