Hi Everyone,
Curious: Has anyone here explored other additive materials such as
PET, or HPDE in the form of flake or pellet?
I suspect now that there is a rapidly growing end user business
segment,(to include USA) which produces the flake or the pellett,
this might be a readily available material that may introduce some
added (interesting) qualities.
Additionally, there also seems to be a small growth (interest) in
the cycledown carpet industry. My research indicates that type
nylon 6 is the demand post comsumer product at the moment, as the
rest of the post conumer carpets are more difficult and not recycle
friendly, at least at the moment.
If anybody has experience or resarch in this direction, let me know.
I will be happy to keep everyone posted on my research as well.
Sandra
