I tried to send this as a reply, but since I do not post much in here must assume it is moderated. I was wanting to know if anyone is in the southwest Kansas area and if so would it be possible to rent or borrow a tow mixer. I have a project at my fathers in northwest Kansas and only need about a yard and a half or two yards to get mixed. The project is that I am going to replace the old shed on his property with a newer one with the same footprint, but am going to do a pour over the existing slab since it was built as a two piece. I,E. They poured the footings first then the slab inside. After almost 90 years the footings have slowly crept out, leaving some nice gaps along the perimeter. I figured instead of tearing it all out, just use the old slab as a base to get the side walls of the shed higher off the ground. I might add the foundation would be slightly narrower than the original since I may have to remove about three feet to the north side on account of a tree growing up along the foundation there. Dont worry. It will go away. Someone want to let me know?
