Thank you so much. Your paint sounds beautiful. If I ever drive through wherever you are (Texas?) I will call and stop in.
Sincerely, Judith

Subject: [papercreters] Fidobe was: The Upcoming Gathering
Greetings,
We use 50/50 by weight, but I have real heavy clay at my place. If I
were a sculptor or into pottery, I would not have to buy materials. I
do use cement for ceiling panels and any other application that I want a
light panel for. We seal our stuff with an old fashioned, home made
paint. Our exterior paint is made from Raw linseed oil, slaked lime and
pigment for color. Pigments that are lime tolerant are not real
expensive if you buy from a cement place, not an art supply. The inside
paint is milk curd, slaked lime and pigments; it is polished when
completely dry after the second coat and can be washed after it has
cured for a few weeks.
Bright Blessings,
Kim
